A gamified eLearning platform had invested heavily in a badge and achievement system to motivate students. Every earned achievement is assigned a unique Verification ID that links to a dedicated Verification Page on the platform’s own website. Anyone — employers, colleagues, or institutions — can visit that page, enter the Verification ID, and instantly confirm the achievement is real, seeing the achievement name, image, point value, trigger type, and count. Students also gain one-click sharing to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, with auto-generated social preview images of the achievement so posts look professional and eye-catching. Three powerful shortcodes let admins place a sharing table, a verification table, and a verify-by-ID search field anywhere on the site — no custom development needed to set up the frontend experience.
The platform’s badge and achievement system went from a purely internal motivator to a publicly verifiable credential system.
