A custom LearnDash add-on that assigns multiple certificates to a single course, quiz, or group — and lets students select, download, and receive the one they need — built by AR Webcrafts.
A professional certification platform ran into a unique challenge: different students completing the same course needed different certificates. Some needed a certificate in their native language, others needed one with a specific partner organization’s branding, and some needed both. LearnDash, by default, only allows one certificate per course — meaning the platform had to manually issue custom certificates on request, wasting hours every week.

AR Webcrafts built a flexible multi-certificate system fully integrated into LearnDash. Admins can now assign as many certificates as needed to a single course, quiz, or group of courses. Upon completion, students are presented with all available certificates and choose the one they want — no admin involvement required. The chosen certificate is immediately available for download directly from the course or quiz page and is also automatically delivered to the student’s email inbox. Admins can also configure the system to allow students to download all certificates at once, giving maximum flexibility. All settings live natively inside the LearnDash course, quiz, and group edit screens — no new interface to learn.
The platform eliminated all manual certificate processing. Students received their certificates instantly after completion — no waiting, no chasing admins. The ability to offer multi-language and multi-brand certificates on the same course opened the platform to international partnerships that previously weren’t possible. Admin time spent on certificate management dropped to near zero.
